Data controller

SAS D-Code Lab, whose registered office is in Clermont-Ferrand, France, is the controller of the personal data collected on this website.

When you register, we collect the following data: first name, last name, email address, phone number and profession. Providing this data is necessary to process your registration; otherwise your request cannot be handled.

Purposes of processing

Your data is processed for the following purposes:

  • Performance of the contract: managing your registration and attendance
  • Communication relating to the event and practical arrangements
  • Issuing training certificates
  • Legitimate interest: commercial outreach regarding our future events
  • Service improvement and anonymised statistics

Recipients

Your data is intended for internal teams at SAS D-Code Lab and may be shared with our technical processors (hosting, ticketing, email) strictly for the purposes stated. It may also be disclosed to competent authorities where required by law or court order.

Retention period

Your data is retained for five years from your last interaction with our services, in accordance with legal obligations regarding accounting records and professional training certificates.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and French data-protection law, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access and to obtain a copy
  • Right to rectification
  • Right to erasure (within legal limits)
  • Right to restriction of processing
  • Right to data portability
  • Right to object to commercial prospecting

You may exercise these rights by written request to: secretariat@orthodiet.org. Any request must include proof of identity. We will respond within one month.

Note: If you exercise your right to erasure before the event takes place, your registration will be cancelled by operation of law, with no refund where the statutory deadline for cancellation has passed.

Complaint

If you consider that processing of your data infringes your rights, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés), the French data protection authority.
